For my card, I wanted to show you that you CAN make a piece of punch art with only ONE punch. I know, you don't believe me, but it's true! This totally versatile punch is the Blossom Petals Builder punch by Stampin' Up! Check out my tutorial below.
The totally adorable fish, bobbin and greeting is from the PKS-11 Igloo stamp set. The sweet little face on the bear is from the PK-754 Critter Faces Set A Medium.
Bear Instructions:
1) Using the Stampin' Up! Blossom Petals Builder, punch the pieces shown from Close to Cocoa card stock. Trim the pieces as shown marked with black lines.
2) Lightly sponge the edges of all trimmed pieces with chocolate chip ink. Stamp one of the bear faces from PK-754 Critter Faces Set A Medium with black ink. Add a dot of white to nose with unibal gel pen. Sponge or stipple regal rose ink onto cheeks, centers of ears and centers of feet.
3) Glue ears onto back of head. Attach feet and head to body with dimensionals. Glue one paw to body.
4) Hand cut a fishing pole from Crumb Cake card stock for pole and Chocolate Chip for handle. Draw lines onto pole with red marker. Glue one end of linen thread to top of pole. Stamp, color and cut out bobbin and glue to other end of line. Glue pole down on attached paw. Attach other paw over the top with dimensional. Stamp fish onto green card stock. Cut out and sponge edges with old olive ink. Add white hilights to eyes with unibal gel pen.
Due to the size of the finished piece with pole, I make the finished card 6 x 6 in size.
