Good morning all, I hope you enjoyed the extended holiday weekend. I unpacked, cleaned and organized my craft room. I was aching to use it and stuff was stacked up all over. I'm happy to say that 99% of it is all in place and I'm ready to create. Good thing since I have lots coming up this month. The new Peachy Keen stamps of the month are coming out this weekend and you are going to flip when you see them! I'll be doing some catch up projects in June for Peachy Keen, Inspired by Stamping and My Creative Time. PLUS I want to share some punch art which I haven't done in quite some time. Lots of fun so stay tuned!
As a reminder, for the summer months, I will be paring back my inspiration posts. There is less out on the web to find in the summer months and rather than spend hours looking for quality ideas, I thought it would be better spent actually creating my own projects!

Tooth Fairy Door & Accessories
If you haven't signed up for the May issue of Craft Project Central, then this should convince you! I have to say that this month has probably been the MOST AWESOME month in CPC history! Every single project is a stunner this month. My project is coming up tomorrow and the bonus project goes up on the 29th. If you haven't signed up yet, DO IT NOW! Where else can you get 10 projects like this for only $10?! I don't know anyone selling projects like this for only a buck!
For a child, losing their first tooth can be both exciting and scary! And for the parents, it’s another passing moment that signifies that their "baby" is growing up. This Tooth Fairy Door project is intended to help make the arrival of the Tooth Fairy enchanting and memorable for kids and their parents alike! The Tooth Fairy door sits on the child’s nightstand, alongside the little bed and side table. On the bed the child lays their tooth, and on the side table, they sign a "thank you" card. When they go to sleep, the Tooth Fairy has a way to enter quietly into their room, take the tooth and the card, and in place leaves a little gift of money or a small toy. On her way out, she leaves the door a bit ajar, so there is no mistaking that she has been there!
Isn't this the sweetest, most wonderful project ever? I will most definitely make this for my daughter when she loses her first tooth! This was designed by Tara. Head on over to CPC and join the May edition for only $10.

Punch Inspiration 5/25/12
Hi all, the past 3 weeks have been incredibly taxing. Besides my move, I've had to work 12 hour days at my full time job. Thankfully, the late hours end today. I look forward to the 3 day weekend and getting back to my brand new craft room! I'll be sure to share pictures once the room is all set. Even though a lot is still unpacked, I'm finding it much easier to craft in my expanded space.
Over the past couple weeks, I've seen a slowdown in online posts. No doubt it's because we are moving into the summer weather in which people spend more time outside and less time crafting. As a result, there are less ideas out there for me to share. You may not see inspiration posts every day but I will continue to share what I find this summer. Thank you to everyone that visits my blog every day and leaves comments. I appreciate it very much! If you are wondering, I do plan on getting back to my punch art soon. My poor little punches have been neglected for a while. I'm still mourning over the loss of some of my all time favorite punches like the Heart to Heart, Round Tab and 5 Petal Flower punches. If you don't have these punches, I suggest you buy them now if they are still available. It's first come first served with Stampin' Up!
Now on to the inspiration:

Peachy Keen Challenge Anything Goes
For this week's Peachy Keen Stamps challenge, the theme is Anything Goes! This is great, since I've been so busy, I didn't want to be limited when I sat down to create. I was itching to use one of my new sets from the May release. For my project, I'm using the PK-116 We Go Together stamp set. This fun little set not only features great greetings, but a couple cute faces as well. In addition to the stamp set, the card stocks, designer papers and embellishments are from the May Peachy Picks Paper Kit. I loved the colors in this set. I would equate it to the SU! colors of pool party, taken with teal (retired), riding hood red, daffodil delight and crumb cake. It's a fun color combo for sure!
For the hot sauce, I paper pieced it by stamping the bottle on a piece of red and blue card stock and a checked print (for label and cap). Cut out the red bottle in it's entirety. Then, cut out the neck band from the blue bottle and glue that onto the red bottle. Last cut out the label and cap from the printed bottle and glue those on. To add depth, I sponged the edges of the red bottle with riding hood red ink and the neck band with not quite navy ink before gluing the pieces together. Stamp the label with riding hood red ink. I used a black and riding hood red marker to color the greeting and then stamped on a modern label punched piece.
If you haven't seen them already, head over to Peachy Keen Stamps and check out all of the great stamps from the May release. They are perfect for all of those father's day projects!

Punch Inspiration 5/15/12 UPDATE
Good morning all, sorry to be making excuses but I've been working 12 hour days since last week and it's been difficult getting my inspiration posts done. Last night I was so tired that I went to bed at 9 pm. I NEVER go to bed that early. I typical day for me ends at midnight.
I will post inspiration today but it will be tonight when I get home from work. Late hours this week and then I can get back to my normal routine. So, the post tonight won't go up until at least 9 pm, depending on how late I have to work tonight. I look forward to getting back into my crafting routine. I still have a lot of my stuff in boxes from the move but I'm unpacking a little at a time when I need something.
I love my new craft room but I'm not getting time to enjoy it!!! Thanks everyone for your patience and for sticking with me through the downtime.
UPDATE:
Thanks to all of the ladies who left such kind comments for me. I appreciate it more than you know. I sometimes feel like I'm letting you all down by not sharing as much as I used to. Thanks so much for your support and understanding.
Now, on to the inspiration!

Peachy Keen SOTM & Other Stamps
Hey all, due to my move, I wasn't able to participate in the Peachy Keen May Stamp of the Month previews. But, I will be breaking out these new stamps later in the month so you'll want to check out my later projects. In the mean time, take a look at all of these fun stamps! Did you know that Peachy Keen now offers a lot of their stamps in SVG digital format for cutting out with a cutting machine? I look forward to trying these out on my Cricut with SCAL.

Vintage Postcard
Did you see the new Inspired by Stamping stamps that came out yesterday? If not, you should check them out HERE. Today is my recap for the new release and that includes another new creation. This time, I used the Vintage Postcards set. I had this pretty glittered paper sitting around and when I saw this set, I knew that it would be perfectly paired with this paper.

Inspired by Stamping New Stamps
It's that time again! Time for some more new Inspired by Stamping stamps. Today I'm going to give you a glimpse of 2 new greeting sets that you will totally love. Be sure to come back on Friday to check out the actual stamp images.
For my first card, I used the greeting from one of the new sets called Amazing Inspirations. I couldn't resist embellishing around the greeting with the gorgeous butterflies from Butterfly Wings.

An Update
Good morning everyone! I just wanted to drop in and leave you an update since many of you may be wondering where I went. We moved into a new home last week and I'm working to get all of the boxes unpacked and get my craft room set up. I work full time, so it's been a challenge. I spend a few hours every night working on it. I hope to get finished up this weekend.
I know you have all missed my daily inspiration. I will resume my daily posts on Monday. I have lots of projects to complete and share. Unfortunately, I was unable to participate in the new stamp release for Peachy Keen this week. The stamps are super cute so check them out HERE. The official release party is tomorrow, so make sure to head over to Peachy Keen Stamps to see all of the new stamps.
I will be sharing some fun PKS projects later this month with the new stamp of the month and add-on sets so stay tuned. I've also got a new collection of Inspired by Stamping stamps to share with you all. That release is next week. Plus a Craft Project Central project that you will definitely love.
Thanks to everyone that has been checking back on my site over the past week and all of the well-wishers that have left comments and emails for me. I have missed talking with all of you over the past week. I promise everything will be back to normal soon!
