Happy flower window tent cart

When I saw this technique on SCS, I just had to try it!  Go to the Split Coast Stampers resource library HERE to get instructions on how to make a window tent card (the overall dimension of my card is 6x6).  I used a combination of new and retired Designer Series Papers to make my card.  For the flowers, I used the new hostess 6x6 paper pad.  For the outside of the card, I used Woodland Walk and for the inside, a retired set called Fall Flowers.

To make the flowers, you will need the following Stampin' Up! punches:

Fancy Flower (concord grape flower)
5 Petal Flower (baby flower)
1 3/4" Scallop Circle
2 3/8" Scallop Circle
3/4" circle
1 1/4" Circle
2 Step Bird

Punch 2 of the fancy flowers out of concord print paper.  Punch 2 of the 5 petal flower out of poppy print paper and punch 1 each of the scallop circles from peach parfait print paper.  The leaves are the wing from the 2 step bird punch in pear pizazz print paper.  Stamp the Simple Sallies faces from Peachy Keen onto so saffron cardstock and punch out 2 of the 1 1/4" circles and one 3/4" circle (its easier to stamp first and then punch out the faces).

Cut 3 strips of 1/4" wide wild wasabi cardstock.  These will be used for the flower stems.  To make them sturdy, fold the strips in half and glue together.  I cut strips that are about 8" long and folded them in half.  You can then trim away what stem you don't need.  Sponge the leaves with wild wasabi ink.  Sponge the so saffron pieces with more mustard ink.

I added some highlights to the faces with a white unibal gel pen and I used a blender pen and regal rose ink for the cheeks.  I colored the mouths solid with a black zig pen.  To add dimension, attach the flower layers together with dimensionals.  I used a Die-namics grass die and cut 2 strips of certainly celery and 2 strips of wild wasabi to layer on the inside of the frame and behind the flowers.

The greeting is from Occasional Quotes hostess set and is stamped on shimmery white with concord grape.  the base of the card is made from certainly celery cardstock.  I layered pumpkin taffeta ribbon onto the daffodil satin ribbon for the bow.
